Award winning news correspondent Morton Dean covered many historic, headline-making stories around the world for CBS News and ABC News. His documentary American Medevac is based on a story he covered, under fire, during the Vietnam War and reunites three wounded infantrymen with the men who rescued them. Appointed by the Secretary of Defense, Dean serves on the United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration Commission which honors those who served. Cooking is his passion and he’s very proud to have attended boot camp at the Culinary Institute of America.
