This is a refreshing cocktail that can be served as a punch at parties.
Ingredients
- 1 part absinthe
- 3-5 parts ice water
- 1 part simple syrup
- 1 part lime juice
- Cucumber slices
- Ice, optional
Preparation
Pour absinthe into a glass, pitcher, or punch bowl — approximately 30 ml (1 ounce) per serving. Slowly drizzle in ice water (absinthe will louche). Add simple syrup and lime juice. Garnish with cucumber slices. Adding ice is optional, and should only be done after the drink is prepared.
