Blonde Shun Santoku with radishes on cutting bpard

The Shun Premier Blonde Santoku has a shape and size that is a favorite of many cooks and professional chefs. With a 7-inch or 5.5″ blade, it is slightly shorter than a standard chef’s knife, with enough curve to allow a rocking cut. It has a fine, sharp edge and 68 micro layers of Damascus cladding with a hammered finish to help release food easily when cutting.

The Shun Premier Blonde Santoku is also available in walnut-finish or gray Pakkawood handle.

James Beard award-winning Chef JJ Johnson, author of Between Harlem and Heaven, had this to say about santoku knives: “A lightweight santoku knife is ideal if you’re going for hours. In the holiday I know I’ll be prepping, cutting for meals all day.“
