The tradition of using a maraschino cherry garnish for cocktails has been hard for me to defend against the trend toward eliminating artificial ingredients from our foods. I was therefore delighted when gifted with a jar of Bada Bing Cherries – with no artificial flavors or colors. These cherries have the color and texture of a fresh bing cherry with excellent almond-y flavor. I’ve garnished Manhattans and Pimm’s Cups most satisfactorily with these beauties.
