Michelle Yacino Siudut is the former editor of a monthly publication for outdoorsmen and women. She now works as a freelance editor/writer and business organizer. She lives in southern New Hampshire with her daughter. They share their home with a dog and two cats, but the backyard belongs to a variety of chicken breeds. Having grown up in a hunting family, Michelle continues that tradition and also gardens in an effort to know where the food she eats comes from. She has been known to trade her peach jam and highly acclaimed homemade salsa in exchange for other foods foraged by friends. She is a volunteer at her core, giving many hours to a local community center and veterans organizations. She is an associate member of the New England Outdoor Writers Association and a member of the New England Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier.
