Kathy Gunst is the author of 14 cookbooks. Her latest is Notes from a Maine Kitchen. She is the “Resident Chef” for NPR’s award-winning show Here and Now, heard on over 350 public radio stations. She writes for many publications including The Washington Post, Newsweek, Eating Well, Modern Farmer, Yankee, Down East, and more. She has received multiple nominations for James Beard Awards and IACP Awards for her writing and radio work. Gunst helps run a cooking and gardening program for elementary school children at Central School in South Berwick, Maine, as part of Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move initiative.
