Cook for Good is a blog about economical home cooking, started by Linda Watson when she tried for three weeks to live on a dollar a meal per person. The author of the cookbooks Wildly Affordable Organic (2012 Sierra Club Editors’ Choice) and Fifty Weeks of Green: Romance and Recipes, she writes about affordable eating for The Huffington Post and other publications. She speaks to groups about thrift and sustainability, gives cooking demonstrations, and teaches cooking classes. She lives with her husband in Raleigh, North Carolina, where she is in the process of converting their yard into an edible forest garden.
